The Northwoods Stormy Kromer is a special version of the famous Stormy Kromer Cap that has been in existence since 1903.

Randy (Gus) Gustafson and Ron LaClair co-designed the short brimmed Northwoods Stormy Kromer. Randy, a well known Guide and Outfitter from Michigans Upper Peninsula and Ron, a renowned Traditional Archer and Longbow Champion from southern Michigan made a joint effort to create a cap that would be functional as well as stylish for all types of outdoor activities. Bow hunters who need a cap with a short brim for better bow string clearance, Dog Mushers, Snowshoers, and Cross Country Skiers are just a few of the many types of outdoor activities that will benefit from this style cap. While the shorter brim is a better choice for some they have also maintained the style, wearabilty, and tradition that has been the Stormy Kromer trademark for 100 years. The Northwoods Kromer is currently available in sizes from 7-7 7/8 (check sizing chart). Other sizes available by special order. Available in Black, Red, Orange and Mossy Oak Camo. They are 80% wool for warmth and quietness.
