FOR IN-DEPTH INFO, please call 1-800-530-8859 ---- The Menominee river walleye & northern season opened today with the first day of the 2009 Wisconsin fishing season. Fishing presure was light with the cold early morning temps, the 10-20mph winds and the cool water temps.Fathead minnows were the bait of choice with some anglers trying some crawlers and leeches. We will have more info as the next few days weather looks better and more fisherman will get out.
